Built by convicts as a butchery in the 1820s, this free standing cottage was previously the stables behind the historic bank built in the 1890s. Old pipes, medicine bottles and other artefacts dating back to the 1800s were found during the restoration and can be viewed on request.
Modern day touches in the easy-access Stables include two king single beds, separate sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen and heated floor and towel racks in the bathroom. Guests are also free to re;ax in the main building of the former bank which features open fires - perfect for a winter stay in the Highlands.
